
Meredith Bailey (she/her) is a compassionate mental health professional specializing in medication management and psychotherapy for individuals aged 18 and above. Graduating from the Yale School of Nursing in 2012 with her Masters in Nursing, Meredith’s journey in nursing began with a bachelor’s degree from St. John Fisher College in 2007. Meredith is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing from Quinnipiac University.
Meredith proudly identifies as a Queer provider, and her commitment to inclusivity and providing a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community led her to establish Serenity Wellness in 2017. Her therapeutic focus extends to couples and individuals, offering guidance through psychotherapy. Her expertise encompasses aiding individuals navigating gender identity challenges and significant life transitions like divorce or parenthood.Meredith’s dedication is evident in her work with those affected by religious trauma and family disownment—predominant issues within the Queer community. She particularly supports individuals leaving orthodox religions, including former Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses.
With specialized training in trauma Meredith is equipped to help clients dealing with PTSD diagnoses and histories of abuse or sexual assault. Additionally, she has completed Level 1 & 2 of the Gottman Method, enhancing her ability to work with couples. Meredith has also completed PSI trainings in order to provide quality care to perinatal and postpartum parents. Alana Pomarico (she/her) is dually certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and psychiatric nurse practitioner. Alana attended the University of New Hampshire for her undergraduate degree. She graduated from Yale University with a Masters in Nursing in 2012 with her RN and APRN. Alana completed her post-masters in psychiatric mental health nursing at University of New Hampshire in December 2021. She worked at Natchaug Hospital on the inpatient psychiatric adolescent unit before moving into an advanced practice role on Yale’s adult psychiatric inpatient unit from 2013-2017.
Alana has specialties in treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, including post-partum and perinatal mood disorders. She also has a passion for treating the LGBTQ+ community. Alana cares about each of her patients and always collaborates with other treatment providers such as psychotherapists and primary care doctors. Alana carries a small caseload of individual therapy clients in addition to medication management.

Stephanie Farrell, APRN
Stephanie Farrell, APRN, is a dedicated and compassionate psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 25 years of experience in nursing. Her previous experience as a nurse included substance abuse and mental health settings. Stephanie is deeply committed to providing warm and inclusive therapy to individuals from the LGBTQ+ community. She also is passionate about providing comprehensive care to other healthcare providers and nurses.
Stephanie is thrilled to bring her wealth of experiences to the Serenity team, where she will continue to make a positive impact on the lives of her patients. Stephanie’s approach is warm, non-judgmental, and believes in meeting you where you are at.

Jess Adelman is a psychiatric nurse practitioner who offers medication management and supportive psychotherapy to clients ages 18+. She has a Masters of Science in nursing from Yale University and has special interests in complex trauma, fostering neurodiversity, and serving the LGBTQ+ community. Jess values authenticity, creativity, respect, and compassion in her practice.
Jess completed EMDR training and is working toward their certification as an EMDR provider. Jess takes a collaborative and thorough approach to diagnostic assessments of all their clients.

Megan Strobel APRN graduated from University of Hartford with her Masters in Nursing, and obtained her post-masters in psychiatric mental health nursing from Regis College. Megan has been in nursing for ten years in a variety of settings and roles. Megan enjoys working with healthcare providers and has served as clinical faculty at Quinnipiac University and as a clinical nurse educator at CT Children’s Medical Center.
Megan has experience outpatient with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, and works with the patient to assess and treat mental illness in a safe and supportive environment. Megan has experience with the LGBTQ+ community and meets clients where they are at in their individual journeys.
